A Visit to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art : 150 Years of Impressionism

Yesterday, I visited an exhibition at the Tel Aviv Art Museum that was all about celebrating 150 years of Impressionism.

In my opinion there’s something incredibly smart about this style —how just a few brush strokes can bring so much to life. It’s not about piling on the details but capturing the essence of a scene, a moment, or a feeling. That’s what I love about it. It’s like the artists were saying, “Here’s what really matters”, without overcomplicating things.

The exhibition featured works by some of the greats—Monet, Renoir, and more, each piece felt like a reminder of why this style resonates with me so much. There’s a freedom in the way they painted, and that’s something I strive for in my own work. It doesn’t have to be perfect or overly detailed to be beautiful.

Walking through the museum, I felt a spark of inspiration. The kind that makes you want to rush home and start painting immediately. It reminded me that art doesn’t have to be complicated to be impactful—it just needs heart.

If you’re in Tel Aviv, I’d totally recommend checking out this exhibition. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a bit of inspiration, it’s definitely worth a visit.
